The right to bare arms
The original idea for this image came from from a joke by the play writer Rick Bland.
It was during the controversies about the use of the Burqa in the west and I loved the innocence and playfulness of the word play amidst the heated arguments going on at the time.
On an earlier version the woman had both arms down and the water gun wasn't there which gave the image a seriousness that wasn't intended.
I added the water gun to bring back the word-play connection to the second amendment of the US constitution while keeping the subject light.
